Jeff Robinson, Aurecon’s sustainable buildings group leader, is currently presenting on ‘re-lifing’ to architects at seminars taking place in nine cities across Australia.He was invited by the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA) to participate in the Refuel national seminar series and give a fresh view on ways to improve the environmental performance of existing buildings and the quality of the working environment for building occupants. His presentation highlights:
Jeff partnered with Mark Quinn a Director of Rider Levett Bucknall to provide analysis on the capital and ownership costs associated with refurbishing existing buildings rather than knocking down and rebuilding. They have now completed 8 of the 9 seminars with Perth on the 16th. Over 200 architects attended the series and Jeff has already received many emails, enquiries and requests for further information which show just how effective such outreach can be.
