Banten Container Terminal Wharf Extension
Aurecon was engaged by PT Portindo Dinamkia to provide detailed design of the Banten Container Terminal Wharf Extension located in Ciwandan, Banten Province. The Banten Container Terminal Wharf Extension involved upgrading PT Portindo Dinamkia's container wharf at Ciwandan Port to cater for Post-Panamax container vessels of up to 70,000 dwt.
This occurred through significant ugrades to the existing wharf to accommodate larger vessels including extending the existing wharf by 140m at the seaward end, 60m at the inner end and demolition of an existing mooring dolphin adjacent to the wharf.
